The City of Ipswich Toastmasters and the Rotary Club of Ipswich invite you to be entertained and inspired by the best young communicators in Ipswich. Now in its 35th year, YOUTH SPEAK 2026 gives high school students the opportunity to extend their public speaking experience in front of a live audience.
Toastmasters have supported this event from its inception as adjudicators, evaluators and judges. This year a Speechcraft course was conducted to assist students who may be just starting out in public speaking. Our thanks go out to our Toastmaster friends who volunteered their time to make this possible.
We know that you will be impressed and uplifted by the enthusiasm and dedication of our talented youth as they demonstrate their communication skills. Enjoy a refreshing evening and listen to the encouraging feedback and tips provided by experienced Toastmasters.
Contestants progress through the semi-finals on 12 May with just six (6) speakers moving on to the final on 19 May 2026. Finalists will speak on the theme for Rotary International 2026-2027 “Create Lasting Impact”.
Tickets are $30 Single or $100 Family (2 adults and 2 children).
Your ticket includes a buffet style dinner at the final on Tue 19 May and FREE admittance to the semi-final night on 12 May.
