Hassalls on the Milford Track

Julia and Tony Hassall live in Ballandean, Queensland, and are members of Stanthorpe Club and Federation Club.

Demonstrating their usual grit and determination here they are standing at the MacKinnon Memorial after a zig zag walk up the mountain track in wet and 90km/hr wind gusty weather to Pass Hut.

This is the half way point on the prestigious New Zealand Milford Track 56 km walk which they described as ” A physically challenging but rewarding experience.”
