To achieve the distinction of Distinguished Toastmaster (DTM) is a goal that all Toastmasters strive towards through our ‘communication’ journey. Some of us achieve the goal after years and years of hard work, and others achieve it quickly, after a lot of hard work.
It is rare to see a Toastmaster achieve this goal twice. District 69 has a handful of Distinguished Toastmasters who are doubly distinguished, and Serendipity Club’s own Dee Douglas recently joined this elite group of members who have gone above and beyond the dizzy heights of DTM, when she was presented with her 2nd Distinguished Toastmaster recognition.
Dee is a shining example to all of us, of someone who makes use of every opportunity to grow and to give back to the greater Toastmaster community. She is a regular presenter at all levels of the executive, and both within her own club and further afield, Dee is well-known and highly regarded for the time and care she puts into every presentation. Her work gives other Toastmasters a benchmark to strive towards in our communication skills as well as providing an example of giving back and helping others achieve their goals.
Dee is Respect, Integrity, Service and Excellence in action, and we congratulate her on this wonderful achievement.
Congratulations Dee, from Downunder Toastmasters.
Congratulations Dee, fine job and well worth the rewards. Dee one more to catch up to me. Cheers and congratulations again Di Vecchiet
Congrats Dee – welcome to the group – now on to the third 🙂
You have always been a very Distinguished Toastmaster (and person). It is good to see that it has been officially recognised by Toastmasters International not once but twice. You are the epitome of what a Distinguished Toastmaster should be. Congratulations and thanks for everything you have given to the Toastmasters in District 69.
Our heartiest congratulations to the lady with a big heart … and of course the flaming red hair! A great reward and thoroughly well deserved. Good on ya mate!
Thanks for all the hepl & encouragement you’ve given us.
Cheers
Chris (DTMx2) and Dell Parminter (DTMx1)
