Notice of Meeting: District Council Meeting on Sunday 19th April 2026 at 2pm

Notice is hereby given of the District Council Meeting which will be held at 2pm on Sunday 19th April 2026 via Zoom.

Voting members include Top Table, Division Directors, Area Directors, Club Presidents, Club Vice President Education.

(But if you are interested in the goings on of the District you should be there. You get to hear how decisions are made and be in the room where it happens…)

Apologies 

Apologies must be received in writing via email to the Admin Manager (that’s me!), no later than 5pm Friday 17th April. Please ensure you send any official administration emails to the Admin Manager’s email address. admin@toastmastersd69.org

Please note apologies will not be recorded on the day of the meeting or after 17th April. (Apologies are for voting members only!)

Agenda 

An agenda with all of the motions and exciting business will be sent out after the upcoming District Executive Committee Meeting. (If you are meant to be at that  one you received an email from me last week 😊 )

Candidates Corner & Town Hall 

Before the Council Meeting you should meet the members running for District Leader roles. They will be at the Candidates Corner for you to judge and observe.

In the same zoom meeting there will be a Town Hall. Think of this as your quintessential town hall meeting with lots of chatter and discussion around the big motions for the District Council Meeting. This is to make the District Council Meeting smoother and not as painful  long, as some previous years.

This Town Hall / Candidates Corner will occur on Sunday 12th April at 2pm. If you have any strong points of view on motions, you should be there to discuss  before the District Council meeting.

Motions for the District Council

If you have any motions that you would like to be put to the District Council on Sunday 19th April 2026, please send them to Parliamentarian, Adrian Pavone parliamentarian@toastmastersd69.org no later than 6pm Monday 30th March. ( Could you please cc me in to that email so I can add them to the agenda … I’ve heard that’s kind of important.)
