Who This Program Is For

The Online Speaker Lab is designed for working professionals who:

  • Present in online meetings and want to be clearer and more structured

  • Avoid speaking up because they are unsure how to organise their thoughts

  • Deliver presentations but know they could be more polished

  • Want to strengthen their professional credibility

This program is practical, structured and focused on real workplace application.

What You Will Gain

Over five weeks, you will:

  • Deliver four structured 5-7 minute online presentations

  • Receive detailed verbal and written evaluations for each

  • Practise impromptu speaking every week

  • Learn how to open and structure a presentation clearly

  • Build practical confidence through guided repetition

  • Receive a Certificate of Completion

This is not theory. It is structured practice.

How the Program Works

The Online Speaker Lab is delivered in a small, supportive group environment to ensure personalised feedback, meaningful speaking time and direct guidance from experienced presenters. Places are limited to maintain this quality.

The program runs for five consecutive weeks, on Thursday evenings from 7.00-9.00pm AEST:

– 26 March
– 2 April
– 9 April
– 16 April
– 23 April

Sessions are delivered live via Zoom. Participants will deliver two speeches within full Weblec meetings and two speeches within focused standalone lab sessions.

This format allows you to:

  • Experience real meeting conditions

  • Practise in a smaller, focused environment

  • Receive feedback from experienced presenters

Learn From Seasoned Mentors

This program is guided by experienced presenters from Weblec Toastmasters, many of whom have decades of speaking experience in corporate and voluntary capacity.

You will be supported by communicators who understand structure, clarity and audience engagement.

The Online Speaker Lab is based on a proven, structured speaking curriculum developed by Toastmasters International, adapted specifically for online professional presenting.

This provides credibility, structure and a clear learning pathway.

Professional Development Recognition

Participants who complete the full five-week program and deliver all four speeches will receive a Certificate of Completion recognising their commitment to professional development in online presenting. In completing the entire program, participants will also receive a Level 1 Pathways completion acknowledgement, should they decide to become a member of Weblec Toastmasters.

Suitable for inclusion in professional development records and may be tax deductible where applicable.

Investment

$100 for the full five-week program.

This includes:

An accessible investment in practical professional development. This amount must be paid in full prior to the first meeting on 26 March 2026, and is non-refundable if the participant needs to leave the program once it starts on 26 March. Your investment also covers the one-off membership fee to Toastmasters International and membership with Weblec Toastmasters until 30 September 2026.

Payment is via direct transfer to the club bank account. Details provided upon registration.
