What happens at toastmasters
At Toastmasters, members learn by speaking to groups and working with others in a supportive environment.
A typical Toastmasters club is made up of 20 to 30 people who meet on a regular basis for approximately 1 to 2 hours.
- Present prepared speeches
- Plan and conduct meetings
- Give impromptu speeches
- Offer constructive evaluation
Through its member clubs, Toastmasters International helps people learn the arts of speaking, listening, and thinking.
These are vital skills that promote self actualisation, enhance leadership potential, foster human understanding, and contribute to the betterment of mankind.
