Everest awards 2021-2022

The District Mission includes the directive to “support all clubs in achieving excellence”, so recognising and rewarding clubs who do so is fundamental to the District Mission.

District 69 is introducing a new reward for clubs who achieve Distinguished Club, Select Distinguished Club, or President’s Distinguished Club as soon as possible.

The first 50 clubs in District 69 for the 2021-2022 year recognised on the Toastmasters International Dashboard as being Distinguished at any of these 3 levels will receive a $50 payment for their efforts in doing so. If your club is among these first 50 clubs, then your club will be contacted directly by District to enable this payment. The money is to be used for improving your club and recognising your members.

To have the best possible chance of achieving this recognition, please submit all member payments received from your members to Toastmasters International as soon as your members pay your club. Also, ensure your member education awards are submitted when they achieve them. Don’t wait until later in the year to do so. Your prompt attention to these payment and award submissions will ensure your members receive their full benefits and recognition in a timely manner, as well as the added benefit of your club having the best chance of receiving this Everest Award in 2021-2022.

Please don’t forget that all education awards need to be submitted through both Base Camp Manager and Club Central, before it is officially recognised on the Dashboard, so ensure both submissions are made for every education award.

District encourages every club to strive towards this Everest Award, and in so doing, assisting your club members to achieve their full potential through their Toastmasters membership.
