“Toastmasters International is an incredible organisation.

It employs no teachers or trainers… It relies on volunteers. These volunteers – who are our members – learn from one another.

If we want them to be successful, we have to make sure they have the knowledge and tools they need. Club Officer training provides the knowledge and tools.

Districts must conduct club officer training twice yearly – between June/August and December/February. If four Club Officers attend training during each of these training sessions, the Club receives credit towards their Distinguished Club Plan. This is a challenge because people have many things competing for their time…”
